The mast went up very professionnally. We rented a truck at Entreprise for the price of a small car (but no saving on gas there) !
Then we got some grocery at Walmart! And we discovered the many and funny cats of Catskill, done by local artist, as well as Rip Van Winkle, who went to the hills to escape his nagging wife. RVW is a Washington Irving character. The long 5000ft bridge bears his name.
We met La Jouissive (Louis, Noémie, and their charming 8 year old nephew Loïc). They were looking for their cat "Charlotte" who has always been afraid of docks. They were about to leave for Montreal. Xavier found Charlotte, drowned between the shore and the dock, close to Nomades while they went by cab to get their rented car. We had to break the sad news to them when they returned. We were so sad for them and especially for Loïc.
