Notre dernier jour en Caroline du Nord/ Our Last Day in North Carolina

Partir ou non ? La question du jour !

Après mûre réflexion, nous avons décidé de rester et de visiter Southport et nous ne l'avons pas regretté.
We finally opted to stay and visit Southport and we are happy that we did.

 Nous sommes allés en dinghy.
We took the dinghy to go.

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de ces rues tranquilles et de ces grands arbres (Live oaks ) et de ces palmiers.
We loved  the quiet streets ,  the beautiful live oaks and palm trees.
Les gens nous abordent et nous font un brin de causette.
People stop and chat with us.

Un arrêt au café-boulangerie pour du pain! We bought a loaf of bread "Baked with Love" ! 

 La vieille prison loge maintenant la société d'histoire du coin.  The old prison now host the Historical Society.

They keep these under lock and keys !  Ils sont verrouillés !

Après une balade dans le vieux cimetière, et au bord de l'eau, nous sommes allés casser la croûte au resto Fishy Fishy, ou nous avions laissé notre dingy.  Christian a bien aimé sa pizza au thon et moi mon wrap au thon et au riz au safran, avec une sauce piquante. 

Alors que nous partions en dinghy pour rentrer à la marina, nous avons croisé Anou-2 qui arrivait à Southport.  Plus tôt le matin, nous avons vu Mystic Bond, en route pour Myrtle Beach, en Caroline du Sud. 
As we were leaving in our dinghy to go back to the marina, we saw Anou-2 coming in from Wrightsville Beach.  Earlier in the day, we saw Mystic Bond, on its way to Myrtle Beach (South Carolina)
