Cap Sud !

Il y a un avantage à se lever tôt: naviguer dans le soleil levant!

There is one advantage of an early rise: sailing into the sunrise !
Like the Canada Geese , were are heading South! Comme les bernaches, nous mettons le cap sur le Sud .
Nous avons mis 6 heures pour arriver à Norfolk. It took us 6 hours to get to Norfold.

En route, nous avons eu un appel radio d'un beau Island Packett (La Bella Vita) dont le capitaine voulait savoir ou nous allions, puisque nous faisions route ensemble depuis la veille ! Nous avons décidé de le suivre à Hampton, ou nous nous sommes amarrés aux quais publics Hampton.

Underway , we were hailed by the captain of a beautiful Island Packett (La Bella Vita) whose captain wanted to know where we were heading, having sailed alongside us since the day before. We decided to follow him to Hampton where we tied up at the Hampton Public Piers !
Nous allons y passer au moins 2 nuits, puisqu'on prévoit du temps orageux demain et après demain. We will stay here until 2 nights since there is stormy weather in the forecast.
We had a walk downtown, where we enjoyed the murals on Queens West. We met Gerome, an artist, ex-military, poet, and ex-communications agent for the White House. He enjoyed his very vibrant abstract paintings.

Nous avons pris une marche en ville . Nous avons aimé les murales de Queens West. Nous avons rencontré le peintre Gerome, ancien miltaire, poète, et ex-attaché au bureau des communications de la Maison Blanche. Un artiste de talent !
